Local Produce, Wine & Art in the Hills - 20 mins drive from the CBD
Our wines - chardonnay, pinot & sparkling - ranging from 2004 to our current release, are produced using organic practices, natural (wild) fermentation, are hand-picked and pruned. Released after 1 year in new & seasoned oak plus 2-3 years more in bottle for aged characters to develop, the 2009 chardonnay & 2006 pinot are exceptional.
Our artist-in-residence, Chris [Burrumur] Crebbin, a Norton Summit local, uses one of our tasting room/studios as an art studio. We have events featuring some of his works and his stories of their origins are fascinating. Art is for sale and can be commissioned. Chris also teaches and paints murals.
We believe wine should go with food and where possible we source local Hills produce to go with wines from our terroir. John Tan, Master Nyonya Chef, has catered for us and we also use http://www.aliseedsmancatering.com.au/about-ali-seedsman-catering. We can accommodate seated 24 + 24 or buffet up to 60 or groups of 4-10.
